Americas 2022-present: Cycling from Alaska to Patagonia

In 2022, we will tackle our most ambitious bikepacking adventure yet. It starts in Deadhorse, Alaska, the northernmost town in North America that is accessible by (dirt) road. From there, we plan to make our way south for nearly 22,000 miles (35,400 km) with the ultimate goal of cycling to Ushuaia, Patagonia, the southernmost town in South America. Along the way we will pedal across frozen tundra, through boreal forests, temperate rain forests, maritime coasts, scorching deserts, tropical jungles, and significant stretches above the tree line in the Andes.

Our planned route: 22,000 miles (35,400 km) in the saddle! (Click on the image above to open an interactive map of the route.)
